Job Title: Preschool Educator
Location: Opportunities available in several locations across Brooklyn and Manhattan, including our newest centers at 600 6th Avenue and 345 Adams Street.

Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, seasoned Preschool Educator to lead young minds through an interactive curriculum that encourages their growth. As the primary instructor in your classroom, you will guide teaching assistants, cultivate strong family connections, and ensure delightful daily activities for every child.
Key Responsibilities
Create a safe yet stimulating space for children aged 2–5 years
Design lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones based on our unique Little Scholars program
Monitor each child's progress while maintaining open communication with families
Lead your classroom team (including assistant educators) with compassion and professionalism
Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians
Ensure adherence to NYC Department of Health (DOHMH) Article 47 guidelines
Work closely with the Educational Director and peers to maintain consistency across classrooms
Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities including team meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
Ideally holding or pursuing New York State Teacher Certification (Birth–Grade 2)
At least two years of leadership experience in preschool settings or childcare environments
Strong understanding of age-specific teaching strategies
Exceptional classroom management skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities
A true passion for early childhood education combined with a commitment to lifelong learning
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
